The food was delicious! The view was amazing! The service was superb! Definitely a great find with a great ambiance.

Beyond delicious. I moved to LI from California and miss the healthy food options. This was a delight to find. Easily mixes healthy with just about anything while incorporating a surfer vibe in the environment. Definitely a must for lunch! The bar tender was a sweetheart and I had a pleasant conversation with her. I've been back twice and plan on going again!

PERFECT view, WONDERFUL food, GREAT service... What more could you possibly want?? That they open another location here in Ohiooooo, YES!!! Delicious, creative mix of Asian and L. American choices, definitely something for everyone, PLENTY of veg/meat options!! We shared the yuca fries with curtido, my sister had a Nicoya o'boya wrap, I had a rayong curry bowl, and my friend had a sweet potato vegan bowl. Service was great, EVERYTHING was delicious, and I wish I could go back again tomorrow!! Wonderful choice in the Huntington/Northport area!!!

Another great meal today at The Purple Elephant. My pics aren't good but the food was wonderful and satisfying. In addition to the Mac Attack with Beyond Sausage and the Gonzos Surfer Bowl, we also had the Vegan Wings (sorry, no pic). We shared the Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse, which was creamy and delicious. The service is always great. Armando is usually our server and he's friendly and attentive. The deck area is enclosed for the winter with heat, so we still felt like we were outside without being cold. So nice to not feel confined in the winter. Again, forgive the bad pics please and go eat there. There's gluten free and non-vegan food there, too.

This place was a really great find. It's a fun spot for vegan or vegetarian people, as well as a good option for anyone who is GF. And if you aren't any of these things, you can still visit and enjoy their unique menu! My friend and I split a few menu items including the "Pork" Tacos and finished the meal with the delicious Sweet Plantains for dessert. For someone who typically orders real pork, the "pork" in the tacos was different but in a tasty way! Just try it! Seating wise, the back of the restaurant is situated in a cool dock alcove area where you have a nice view of the boat yard and water from a balcony. Great for a nice day if you want some fresh air. It seemed to get pretty crowded around dinner time so I would recommend making a reservation. The service flow was a little slow, not sure if it was the day or the crowd but if you're not in a rush then just enjoy the view.

Great option for vegetarian and vegan friendly food. They even have vegan wings! The gonzo bowl is delicious and makes it fun to eat a nice big serving of vegetables. This place is well known for its delicious food. The Purple Elephant is a must try gem right by the water. It's always very busy for a reason.

This is such a cute place, with great food! There's something on the menu for everyone!

I'm a genuine carnivore, but I understand people have some dietary restrictions and preferences. This place has a menu that offers a fantastic selection that doesn't make you feel like you have to compromise. Normally, a lot of places will have several vegetarian options, and a few vegan ones. This place flips the script on that notion with a lot of confidence. While I still ordered and thoroughly enjoyed my steak tacos, I was very pleasantly surprised by the cauliflower "wings" and the pulled "pork". So much that I wouldn't hesitate to have them as a meal for myself, and that's meant to be a real compliment.

The view is great, seriously look at the pictures and accommodating to be outside in the winter Great place if you have a vegan friend and a meat eater with dishes you both can share . Didn't get pictures of the nachos but they were great and the Buffalo cauliflower was fantastic I had a vegan beef. Tacos, what you're really wonderful and this vegan burger looks fantastic shrimp tacos, look great chicken burritos, they had steak and chicken on the menu. I have to tell you for a small restaurant the food was outstanding for a very diverse menu. The service was OK they didn't honor our reservation so we had to wait a little while and there really isn't a great place to wait. I can't imagine what waiting would be like in the winter but I would definitely return the food was that good?
